Bad Day In Office

I had a bad day in office today. Piles and piles of work waiting to be cleared and yet, I should have known that I will sooner or later burst out. And so it happened. Without so much of a warning, I just erupted. It all began when I knew that I had to attend a meeting, which I deemed as unnecessary and an utter waste of time. I knew it since yesterday, but knowing it in advance doesn't mean you can handle it when the dam breaks out. I am pissed because 1 hour and 15 minutes had been wasted just on silly arguments, ignorance and misunderstanding. I mean, I really respect my Project Manager and all the task managers in my office, but silly arguments really is not my cup of tea. Some people may like to loiter around and geting paid good money just for doing nothing, but I hate that, I really do. I earned those money and the company deserves to get the maximum out of my time and effort.I am passionate about my work and perhaps I expected people to be able to understand that. If some people want to take it personally, then, by all means I can't stop them.

I am really an impatient person, but I seldom show my emotional/angsty side to anyone inside the office. Hence, when I show flashes of anger or irritation, people are surprised and taken aback. I consider it a bad day today, because out of 7 goals/things which I want to accomplish by today, only 2 gets to be done.

Oh, by the way, I hate office politics . Why can't we just do our work and go back to our homes and families? I hate the perpetrator who likes to flaunt their position just because they can. Well, at the end of the day, this is just a job, and we all makan gaji only.

Wish I have better luck tomorrow. Maybe I can get 3 out of 7 this time?
