Last Sunday I finally fulfilled another childhood dream of owning a game console of my own. Yes, the picture above speaks a thousand words that I myself cannot describe. It's a humble PS 2, which by today's own standard is just like Bentley compared to a Ferrari or Mercedes, which is what XBox and PS 3 would be.
My childhood or teenage years were filled with dreadful feelings and regrets. Not so much as being slightly poorer than my average Joes friends, but because I wished that I had an eventful one. I used to drop by my friend's place or even my cousin's, and see them playing with their brand new PS 1 (yes, PS 1 was the bees knees at that time) and be envious of it. It was cool, so cool that I managed to promise myself that I will buy the next generation of PS when I can afford it. And now I have finally fulfilled that promise.
I am trying to fit in some time to play the console, but it's a bit hard lately. Too many obligations hold me back, but hopefully one of these days, I hope I can finish the first installment of God Of War and move to the second one. It's the best Playstation game ever produced, so I have been told by my cousin. So, last year Optimus Prime, this year PS 2. Hopefully by the end of this month, some 5 lions will come and formed the highly anticipated robot, the Defender of The Universe. Keeping my fingers crossed now. Boy, I have never gotten so excited in such a long time...
